Alguém sabe me explicar a vantagens práticas de usar o mouse 3D SpacePilot PRO da http://www.3dconnexion.com/index.php - no trabalho em CAD e SIG? Vale a pena usá-lo para aumenta conforto e produtividade? Ou é melhor uma mesa digitalizadora wacom? Ou uma mesa digitalizadora é melhor para CAD/SIG?

Can someone tell me the pros and cons of 3D mouse SpacePilot PRO from http://www.3dconnexion.com/index.php at CAD/GIS works? Does it improve confort and productivity? Or a pen tablet works better for CAD/GIS?

We use the Stealth 3D mouse - which is similar - for all photogrammetric (including stereoscopic GIS) capture activities. The advantage is that the user can program all of the buttons to initiate tools and software functions so that the keyboard is rarely used other than for attribution. I'd say that it is more comfortable, stable in all axes, and increases productivity. The con is really only the price as they are pretty expensive.
